Rotaract is an international organization for the youth in the age category of 18 through 30 years, who believe they can make a difference.

The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance knowledge and skills that will assist them in : -Professional DevelopmentTo address the physical and social needs of their communitiesPromote better relations amongst all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. 

Rotaract Club of AndheriIt is one of the most active Rotaract Clubs present in Rotaract District 3140.

It has an amazing mix of members with students doing BMM, BMS, BCOM, MBA, Medical Science etc. to students engaged in Professional Courses like CA, CS, Law MBA’s working with corporate, self Employed Entrepreneurs.

Duathlon..??Duathlon is an athletics event which consists of a running leg and a cycling leg.

Duathlon 2010, organised by Rotaract Club of Andheri will have 2 legs : -

1. A Cycling leg of 8 kms.2. A Running leg of 2.5 kms.

We are supporting the cause of Reducing the Carbon Footprint of Mumbai.

We are Promoting any activity which helps in Reducing the Carbon Footprint of the globe, locally.

Reducing the Carbon Footprint refers to non usage or reducing the usage of any product or activity which results in the release of harmful gases or substances (Carbon dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, CFC’s) which are damaging human life and existence.

That’s why we are promoting Cycling as an alternative to using cars, bikes or rickshaws for short distance trips.

Also, Promoting the use of Public transport and Carpooling which helps in reducing the global carbon footprint.
