She served as president of the Bossier City club in 2009-2010 and is now a member of the Rotary Club of Alexandria Metro. She has served in vari- ous leadership roles in our District during this time and has attended numerous International Conven- tions and Zone Institutes. DG Paula has earned three degrees from NSU School of Nursing, most recently a MS in Nursing in 2012. She works for ICE Health Services as a contractor providing health care services to detain- ees in Alexandria, LA. She achieved her Certified Correctional Health Professional certification in 2016. Paula and her husband, Past District Governor Wayne Gates, are Major Donor Level Two. They have five children between them, all of whom are Paul Harris Fellows. The District’s purpose is to provide leadership training and create opportunities for other Rotarians to define what Rotary can mean to them. Come prepared with questions about how we interact with our District and how they can help our club. Paula Weaver Gates, our Rotary District’s 2017-

2018 District Governor became a Rotarian in 2004.

She served as president of the Bossier City club in

Our club presented a $250 sponsorship check to the Rotaract Club at BPCC to assist them with their fund

raiser car show on November 11, 2017. Accepting the check were faculty sponsor and honorary Rotarian

Kelly McDade with Rotaract students.

Award from Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation of Louisiana.
