WHY MOKLA SHWAS?• More than 1 lakh commuters arrive at Panvel

Bus stand for commute

• Many do not follow basic decency to form a queue due to which many women, women with kids, students and child bearing female face problems

• Besides that, committing in bus for female commuters is more than a hassle because of daily harassment issues faced by them

WHAT WE DID?• 1. Created awareness

among commuters on law they are violating and the punishment they would receive for harassing female commuters.

• 2. Partnered with Panvel police where they assisted us to create queue while boarding the bus.

• Thanks to support by Panvel Police, where they provided 3 constables for our project for a week from March 12, 2015 - March 19, 2015, we were able to discipline bus commuters to form a queue while boarding the bus.
