Explore Doi Suthep Perhaps the most famous and important temple in
Chiang Mai every visitor must pay a visit. On top of
Doi Suthep Hill, at 3,520 feet above sea level
Visit Hmong Ethnic Village The village itself is overlooked by forested hills, and
there’s an open area surrounded by eateries and
bars which is kept for sports and festivals. The village
streets are lined with little stores selling mostly tourist
souvenirs and Hmong traditional clothing with its
distinctive colours and intricate geometric
embroidery. Traditional ethnic jewellery can also be
purchased. An original souvenir of your visit involves
dressing in a Hmong outfit and having your
photograph taken.

Chai Mongkol
Leave from the hotel to jetty at Wat Chai Mongkol and travel north out of
the city. The river soon shows its true rural identity. As city bridges pass
from view and are replaced by scenes of wide water stretching from
green tree-lined bank true bank. Kids play, daring each other to swing
through an old motor type and plunge into the cool river below. Smiles.
Yells. And the boat chugs on to reach its destination point, the “Thai
Farmer’s House” .Agriculture remains Thailand’s largest source of
income and here the visitor can discover the basic elements-rice , local
herbs, fruits, fishing-all thriving in a chemical-free environment.

At Thai Farmer’s house it down and relax over a fresh fruit or herb
juice, together with a plate of newly prepared mixed fruit, which is
included in the price of your two-hour excursion. But you may also wish
to experience the cooking class, “Flower salad”. Here at “Thai farmer
house” the dish is prepared to a very special recipe which brings out the
unique flavor of the mild, Local seasonal flied flower salad with Special
Thai dressing. A well-chosen selection of side dishes accompany the
main ingredients of the meal. Cups of freshly brewed local coffee and
other beverages are also available.
