CRICOS REGISTRATION TIMELINE - CONTINUED

Undergo VRQA Audit Post audit activities – 1 week RTO approval and CRICOS recommendation to DEEWR

provided audit is clear – 4 weeks CRICOS approval by DEEWR provided the audit is clear

– 4 weeks Wait for PRISMS access to be arranged – 2 weeks Total time - 59 weeks If second audit is required – 16 weeks or more

additional time plus a high risk rating


WORK-BASED TRAINING

Work based training approval is normally required for the following qualifications:HospitalityAged CareDisabilityCommunity Welfare WorkHairdressingChildren’ s Services

Work based training requires a separate audit for compliance, the establishment of additional procedures, identification of worksites, employment of a work-based training coordinator and establishment of practical placement agreements for each student.
