Quadro installation

Purist design is right on trend – and push to open the answer to make design without handles on option on all fronts. With this innovative opening mechanism from Hettich, planning and producing fronts without handles for modern furniture couldn‘t be easier.

Push to open provides the convenience of ope-ning any drawer and pull-out at the mere press of a finger. Push to open also opens up new opportunities in designing furniture frontages!

Plug on installation

The drawer is inserted at an angle from above on the extended runners. Two holes at the back of the drawer engage the hooks at the far end of the runners.

Pressing the drawer down securely seats it on the locating pins. Ensuring ease of installation, the tapered pins provide a precision, firm fit. To remove the drawer, it is pulled out all the way, lifted slightly and then removed from the runners.

The drawer is fixed in position by the locating pins at the front. The exact drawer height is set by turning the thumbwheel.

Slide on installation

The drawer is placed horizontally on the runners and pushed into place. The catch automatically locks the drawer onto the Quadro for a secure fit.

Unlatching the drawer and removing it from the runners is just as easy. This also leaves the height setting unchanged.

The height adjustment facility integrated in the catch produces perfected front panel alignment – without the need for tools of course. The coloured thumbwheel moves the wedge into position between drawer bottom panel and runner.

ApplicationHettich runner systems are suitable for use in living-room, kitchen and office furniture both in the home and business environment.

Load Capacity and Over-Extension GuardThe load capacity (to DIN EN 15338) stated in the cata-logue is understood to mean the weight of the drawer itself including contents in kg.All Hettich runner systems feature guards to prevent the drawer from rolling out and being removed unintention-ally and meet the requirements of the impact test in a test frame to DIN EN 15338.Fitted in the proper manner, the runner systems features in this catalogue are suitable for furniture defined in DIN 14749. The maximum front-panel height is governed in particu-lar by material, drawer size and drawer runner. We will be pleased to provide any further information you may require.

Corrosion TestHettich runner systems satisfy the requirements on corro-sion defined in DIN EN 15338, 72-hour condensation-water test to DIN EN 6270.

General Technical ConditionsThe fitting instructions, screw-fixing points and load-ing information specified in this catalogue assume proper attachment using Hettich direct fixing screws or Hettich flat-head chipboard screws of the stated size in a cabinet material providing a screw pull-out resistance of > 1,000 N in accordance with DIN EN 320. Hettich accepts no respon-sibility for the use of materials or methods of attachment other than those stated.
