Pathos because : American tradition, has been defined by a simple

morality: We Americans care about our fellow citizens, we act on that care and build trust, and we do our best not just for ourselves, our families, and our friends and neighbors, but for our country, for each other, for people we have never seen and never will see.

The photographer doesn’t see American tradition continuing in today’s society because we have abandoned this moral and many others for our own selfish ambitions. The creator wants you to believe that we too should be ashamed.

Ethos because: (Credibility), or ethical appeal, means convincing by the credibility of the creator. We tend to believe people whom we respect. One of the central problems of argumentation is to project an impression to the audience that you are someone worth listening to, in other words making yourself as the persuader into an authority on the subject of your rhetoric.

The image does not contain a logo or reference to whom the ad was funded and created by. Does this affect the credibility of the ad?

Logos because: Of body language - the process of

communicating what you are feeling or thinking by the way you place and move your body rather than by words.We know how the statue of liberty feels without being told because of her body language, it’s something we figure out using logic.

Today we have determined that the ad is effective according to pathos and logos. If the ad is effective what are

you going to do about moral decay ?
