A centerpiece for the 450th “Celebrate St. Augustine” event, award-winning artist Lisa O’Neil’s original commemorative painting is unveiled to the public. (Artist Ventures Grant Project) Juried. An exhibit of touchable art that’s visually appealing and engaging for the blind. Includes sculptures, assemblages, pottery, fiber art, reliefs, kinetic art and more, along with Braille signage and selected audio guides. This vivid exhibit highlights the flora and fauna, history and happenings, people and places that are unique to Florida, both past and present. Midwinter is far from bleak with this sophisticated and surprising exhibition of works in black, white and shades of gray. 2D & 3D of any subject are eligible. A special art and archaeology exhibition of Native American artifacts discovered in St. Augustine. Juried. The miniature marvels in this exhibit pack a big punch! 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional works in any subject or medium may be no larger than 15" including the frame.
