Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Lord, Welcome! It is good to have you join the Sacred Heartworshiping community as we celebrate ourEucharistic Liturgy for the Third Sunday of Lent.

Your presence and prayerful participation enriches allwho join us!! May our time together in prayer lift ourspirit and increase our faith. Thanks for being with us! In today’s Gospel, Jesus emphasizes the need torepent. Jesus says we will perish if we fail to repent.The point of two examples of people dying at thehands of Pilate or dying when the Tower of Siloam fellon them is our call to be ready. We know not the hournor the day, so we are asked to always be ready.Repentance enables us to be ready!! Do yourecognize the need to repent? Are you able to admityour sins? Can you acknowledge your actions andwords that come from the absence of love? Lent is atime of conversion that requires repentance. Pray forthe grace to see the need to repent! Pray for thegrace to repent! Repentance gets us ready for theResurrection. This past week the Archdiocese of Philadelphiaterminated the flu season directives for the celebrationof the Sacred Liturgy. Current information availablefrom the Center for Disease Control confirms that the2009 H1N1 Flu has significantly dissipated. Thismeans that the exchange of the Sign of Peace will beintroduced this weekend. The distribution of thePrecious Blood will be reintroduced on the Sundayafter Easter. As always, individuals are to use goodsense if they are ill or have flu-like symptoms when ina group setting. Thanks for making the adjustmentsas we go back to normal over the next few weeks.
