    food items in the boxes located in the vestibule of the

    Church. Thank you!�

    The Rosary Makers from Sacred Heart Parish have

    been busy. Approximately 20,000 rosaries, made by

    Sacred Heart parishioners, were donated in 2020 to

    various hospitals, nursing homes and schools.� All of

    this was accomplished because our parishioners con-

    tinued to make rosaries during the pandemic while

    they were at home.� God bless all of our volunteers! �

    ST. GABRIEL SOCIETY�

    Share Your Faith & Make New

    Friends!�

    The Inspire Middle School Group is youth minis-

    try for students in grades 6�8 to share faith, pray and

    socialize on the first Sunday of each month. The In-

    spire Middle School Group is thriving and wel-

    comes new members in grades 6�8. �

    The Group will meet this Sunday, January 10th @

    6:00 pm in the Church Basement. Come make

    some friends and explore your faith.�

    The Encounter High School Group has been sus-

    pended due to lack of interest at this time. �

    I would like to share with you a prayer and a wish

    from my cousin who has been ill for many years.

    She sent this to me for a Happy New Year...�

    Hello, welcome to Flight #2021! We are prepared

    to take off into the New Year! Please make sure

    your Attitude and Blessings are secured and locked

    in an upright position. All self�destructive devices

    should be turned off at this time. All negativity, hurt

    and discouragement� should be put away. Should

    we lose Serenity under pressure, during the flight,

    reach up and pull down a Prayer. Prayers will au-

    tomatically be activated by Faith. Once your Faith

    is activated, you can assist other passengers. There

    will be NO BAGGAGE allowed on this flight. God,

    our Captain, has cleared us for takeoff. Destination

    � kindness, understanding, forgiveness, caring, re-

    spect and love. Please take this flight with me and

    have a Happy New Year!�

    As you know, because of Covid�19

    we have been unable to continue our

    Parish Prayer Program due to the

    paper issue and having frequently

    touched items in the Church. How-

    ever, we are bringing back this pro-

    gram in a different way. �

    Please follow the steps below if you

    wish to participate. �

    leave out last names or personal details. �

    �� If you wish to be a prayer partner, please send an

    brick to our “Pathway to Prayer” in front of the Sa-

    cred Heart of Jesus Statue, in the Sacred Heart Pray-

    er Garden. A brick can be in memory or honor of

    your special intentions. Each brick is carved with a

    personal sentiment. �

    A Professional Development Day had been planned

    for the faculty and now has been canceled. �

    Although the students in grades 6, 7, and 8 are not

    having their regular Public Speaking Classes, Mr.

    Seely has decided to hold a modified Oratorical Con-

    test virtually with the students that were supposed to

    compete last year. He will begin working with those

    students this week via Zoom. �

    We announced the Peacemakers for the first trimester

    traditional Open House, we are planning several

    Zoom Meetings for new families. Keep an eye out for

    our announcements. �

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those

    who helped make our Christmas Light Show Drive�

    By a huge success. It was such an uplifting night alt-

    hough quite chilly. Just what the doctor ordered. Eve-

    ryone was happy and in the spirit. Thank you to Mr. C

    who has done a fantastic job while I have been work-

    ing remotely from home and all of his elves; faculty,

    staff, parents, and alumni. Also, a big thank you to TJ

    Fox who entertained us with Christmas Carols in the

    frigid night air.�
