OUR MISSION STATEMENT
SS. Peter & Paul Parish, a community of faith called by God to deepen
our relationship with Jesus Christ, serves the Lord by sharing our time,
talent and treasure. As disciples of Christ, we are called to bring Jesus
Christ to ourselves and others: our children, the sick, the poor, the fallen
away Catholics and those who need to hear God’s message of uncondi-
tional love and forgiveness. SS. Peter & Paul Parish is a beacon of light
rooted in Jesus Christ, passed on to his successor, our Holy Father the
Pope, and is guided by our local bishop to build the Kingdom of God on
Earth. It is our mission to shine the light of Jesus Christ in our world and
to spiritually enrich the individual members of the parish as well as the
larger community through word, worship, sacrament and service.

ter your foursome, or to be added to a team. Hole sponsors
are also needed; the cost to sponsor a hole is $100. Non-
golfing guests are invited for lunch for $20 per person.
Parish Pastoral Council (PPC)
Our parish should be very proud of the forty-seven (47) parishioners that were nominated and the fourteen (14)
parishioners who left their names in consideration for the PPC – it is a tribute to them and to the parish. Unfortunately a
limited number of openings were available, and we thank the parish for their aid in the selection process last weekend.
The PPC is very happy to announce that the following parishioners will be new members to the Parish Pastoral
Council: Mike Boyek, Kathy DeWan, Ryan Magamez, and Jamie Raucher.
The next meeting of the PPC will be on Monday June 29, 2015 at 6;30 pm in Grotto Hall—agenda to follow via e-mail.
Congratulations to each of these new members, and how fitting it is that their first meeting will be on the feast day of
our parish, Saints Peter & Paul. Please continue to ask God to bless our parish and all the members of the PPC .
Bradford County Regional Arts Council (BCRAC)
BCRAC is introducing a series of faith-friendly films to the community. The film series will be presented
monthly at 7:10 pm on Wednesday and 4 pm on Saturday at the Keystone theatre. The June film “Little Boy” will be
shown Wednesday June 24, 2015 and Saturday June 2015. This is a powerful film about a little boy who will do what-
ever it takes to bring his dad home from WWII alive. Check the local newspaper each month for the film and for times
and dates for these films. We will try to publish information in the bulletin about them as they appear in the paper each
month.. It might be good to support this effort to bring films of formation into the local theater.
Hezekiah’s Hands
The interdenominational workgroup, Hezekiah’s Hands, will have its annual “Work Week” the week of June 22-26,
2015. If you are interested in helping on various work projects for those who need assistance, please contact the parish
office 570-265-2113 or see/contact Ed Krauss.
Father’s Day – June 21, 2015
Kids, as you come to church with your dad to celebrate Father’s Day make certain your dad receives a “Father’s
Day” spiritual blessing and an appreciative “Father's Day” gift from the parish.
