TRANSCRIPT
Come one, come all and enjoy the exciting second annual Salisbury Secret Garden from 19 February to 1 March!
Many people may not be aware, but Salisbury was one of the cultural hearts of South Australia in the early 1900’s, and in many ways this rich history lives on today as Salisbury continues to grow and re-establish itself as one of SA’s most popular non-central regions for the arts.
The inaugural Salisbury Secret Garden event saw our City transformed into the northern hub of the Adelaide Fringe with more than 100 free and ticketed events attracting an estimated 6,000 people – a feat we hope to eclipse this year!
With that in mind, it is with great pleasure that I present the 2015 Salisbury Secret Garden Program, which contains all the important information needed on each of our shows to help ensure you never miss a moment of the action.
We have again jam-packed the program with exciting, peculiar and professional performances from a diverse range of genres including comedy, cabaret, big band, children’s shows and even buskers.
I welcome all of our intrastate and interstate visitors into our wonderful community, and encourage local residents and businesses to embrace what is fast becoming one of our City’s biggest drawcards. I trust that everyone will enjoy this fantastic and unique program of performances at the second Salisbury Secret Garden.
Gillian Aldridge, Mayor of Salisbury
