Record Book TipsMarch:Master Showmanship Clinic: Attended - UCounty Council Meeting: Attended - U (may only count once for the year no matter how many you attend)

Item D: Field Day - County

Report attendance as a spectator or participant. Attendance only is required to take credit for a field day. If participating, also take credit for each activity, such as: Demonstration (R), Judging Contest (G), Share the Fun (W). A Field Day could instead be counted as an Attended Event (U), but not as both - choose one. Since there is not space allowed for itemizing for Item D, field days attended should be listed on an Addendum to the PDR.

In Loving Memory Of Heather Elaine NielsenHeather Elaine Nielsen went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2005. Heather was born Aug. 3, 1984 in Pomona. Heather’s enthusiasm for life is evidenced by the abundance of

accomplishments she packed into her 20 short years. Not only did she capture the hearts of the people who knew her, she excelled in all that she did, some of which includes holding a 3.8 grade average as a junior at Colorado State University, while majoring in animal science and agriculture business. As a youth, Heather was in the top 10 at the 4-H Western Nationals, as well as garnering multiple 4-H state championships. In high school, she was awarded the American Farmer Degree in the Future Farmers of America. Heather was an accomplished horsewoman, who held national, state and regional titles in the American Junior Paint Horse Association, in addition to holding office in the association. At present, Heather was a varsity member on the CSU shooting sports team and was selected to represent the university as a School of Agriculture ambassador. Heather will be desperately missed by the many people whose lives she touched.

County Field DayOn March 19th we had our San Bernardino County Field Day, Fashion Revue and Expressive Arts event. The Bloomington Christian Grammar School was a new location for us but, worked out very well. The stage was great for both the skits and the Fashion Revue modeling. We were very proud of all of our members who attended these events! It was very educational and fun for all. A special thank-you to our All-Stars who planned and ran this event. Thanks to all of the volunteers who judged, tallied, set-up and took down all the tables and chairs we needed. Without all of you helping us, we wouldn't beable to have these events for our youth. And a very special thank-you to all the parents who took time to bring their kids down and support them in their efforts! Results are as fallows
