THE BIG MAN: Kenley Jansen picked up his 40 th save of the season Wednesday night, posting just the seventh 40-save season (his second, also: 2014, 44) in franchise history. KING OF THE HILL: Left-hander Rich Hill will make his second start for the Dodgers, after being scratched from his start against the Rockies last week due to a combination of weather and a finger blister. Overall, Hill is unbeaten in his last nine starts since May 7 with a career-best seven-game winning streak, going 7-0 with a 1.80 ERA (10 ER/50.0 IP), a .188 opponents’ batting average (34-for-181) and 52 strikeouts against just 15 walks in that span. A RANCHO PARTY DON’T STOP: L.A. has had 27 players on the DL this year, which ties the 2012 Boston Red Sox for the most by a team in the last 30 years.
