PROGRAMMA TRIDUO IN ITALIANO CELEBRATO DA DON LIVIO IANNACCONE (Parrocchia S. Maria Assunta di Altavilla Irpina – Arcidiocesi di Benevento) e da FR. PETER ZWAANS (Sacerdote di Hectorville e Tranmere Parishes.) Per la prima volta nel Sud Australia, direttamente da Altavilla, saranno presenti alla festa 2016 le Reliquie di San Pellegrino.

• Mercoledì 13 gennaio 2016 7.30pm. La Messa e S. Pellegrino. • Giovedì 14 gennaio 2016 7.30 pm. L’Eucarestia e S. Pellegrino. • Venerdì 15 gennaio 2016 7.30 pm. S. Pellegrino, l’Eucarestia e la Sofferenza

Domenica 17 Gennaio 2016: Giorno della Festa

12.00pm I Battenti lasceranno “Meals on Wheels Hall” in Montacute Rd. fino

ad arrivare alla Chiesa dell’Annunciazione alle 12:30.

Messa solenne celebrata da Don Livio Iannaccone, venuto da Altavilla Irpina per partecipare alla nostra festa; la celebrazione sarà accompagnata da Guido Coppola e il suo coro - Monteverdi Singers Choir. Il programma civile ha inizio. Michele e “The Seagulls” allieteranno tutti i presenti, che potranno degustare deliziose pietanze tradizionali fatte in casa: Fusilli, Trippa, Carne alla Griglia, Zeppole, Pizza, Torte and Gelati. Vino, birra e bibite varie disponibili alla vendita.

4.30 pm

La processione lascia la chiesa e attraversa le strade accompagnata dalla banda Maltese, con i Carabinieri in uniforme completa e altre associazioni religiose con i loro stendardi e ospiti speciali. La cittadinanza tutta è invitata.

5.00pm Apertura ufficiale con i discorsi dei dignitari. 5.30pm Il programma civile continua con Michele e la band “The Seagulls”,

Claudia Migliaccio, Lauren Greco e artisti oltreoceano. 7.30pm

Direttamente da Napoli (Italia) Antonio Siano vi porterà nella Magnifica Napoli con la sua bellissima voce, cantando il meglio delle canzoni Napoletane.

9.45pm Spettacolo pirotecnico. 10.00pm Chiusura dei festeggiamenti. TUTTI SONO BENVENUTI

• Wednesday 13 January 2016 7.30pm The Mass S. Pellegrino . • Thursday 14th January 2016 7.30pm The Eucharist and S. Pellegrino. • Friday 15th January 2016 7.30pm S. Pellegrino,the Eucharist and Suffering

Sunday 17th January, 2016 Feast Day

12.00 pm The Battenti will leave the Meals on Wheels hall on Montacute

Rd. arriving at the Annunciation Church at 12:30pm.

12.30 pm Solemn mass celebrated by Don Livio Iannaccone. The mass will be accompanied by the Guido Coppola and the Monteverdi Singers Choir.

2.00 pm Social program commences. Stay and enjoy Michele and the “The Seagulls” and various artists. Enjoy the many homemade traditional and delicious dishes such as Fusilli, Trippa, BBQ, Zeppole, Pizza, Cakes and Gelati; Beer, wines, spirits and soft drinks will be on sale.

4.30pm The procession with Battenti will leave the church and travel

the usual streets, accompanied by the Maltese band, the Carabinieri in full uniform. Other religious associations with their banners special guests. Everyone is invited to attend

5.00 pm Official opening of the Festa and Speeches. 5.30 pm The social programme continues with the Singer Michele and

“The Seagulls” band, Claudia Migliaccio, Lauren Greco and other artists.

7.30 pm Directly from Napoli Italy “Antonio Siano” will take you back to Napoli with his unique voice singing the best of the Neapolitan songs.

Preghiera a S. Pellegrino Martire Glorioso S. Pellegrino, nostro prottetore, dal tuo trono glorioso volgiti, ti preghiamo, ai tuoi figli devoti tanto bisognosi del tuo patrocinio ed aiuto. Dacci il tuo zelo e la forza della tua fede perche’ anche noi non vacilliamo mai nelle nostre convinzioni e, come te, possiamo essere gioiosi testemoni del vangelo. In modo particolare, ti preghiamo perch’e, non ci lasciamo irritare dalle tante chimere del mondo d’oggi ma, seguendo il tuo esempio e rafforzati nella fede dei nostri padri, sappiamo professare apertamente che Gesu’ Cristo e’ l’unico salvatore del mondo, l’unica ancora di salvezza. Ancora una preghiera ti rivolgiamo, nostro celeste amico e protettore: fa che i tuoi figli d’Altavilla e quanti fra essi hanno voluto far conoscere il tuo nome glorioso nella lontana Australia ed in altre terre, possano sperimentare sempre, per i loro cari, la tua potente interecessione. Amen

Prayer to San Pellegrino Martire Glorious S. Pellegrino, our protector, from your glorious throne we ask you to look after your devoted children, who are in such need of your help and support. Give us the strength and zeal of your faith, so that we do not stray from our beliefs, and as you, become joyful witness of the gospel. We particularly ask you to help us not to be lured by false hopes throughout the world, but be guided by your example and strengthened by the faith of our fathers, and openly profess that Jesus Christ is the only saviour of the world, the only anchor of salvation. Oh protector and friend, we ask that your many children of Altavilla and those who worship your glorious name in Australia and other far away places may always be sure of your intercession, for themselves and their families. Amen
