CEO'S DESKOn September 30, 2018 2nd Quarter of the year comes to a close. I am pleased to inform that this Quarter had been a vibrant period of the Organisation. Various activities have taken place on an All India level and planned targets have well accomplished. I particularly thank Team IISSSC for their assiduous efforts.

I am presenting an overview of our rapidly increasing activities during the period July 2018 to September 2018.

I welcome the distinguished body The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) becoming governing council member of IISSSC.

Exhibition & Rojgar Mela - Our Organisation participated in 3 Exhibitions along with our Training Partners in 'Skill India East' in Bhubaneswar, 'Skill Conclave 2018' at Guwahati, Exhibition & Rojgar Mela in Indore and 4 Rojgar Melas in Indore, Bikaner, Jajpur & Gwalior. In the Exhibitions we exhibited a few of the training equipments and its functioning, some study materials of IISSSC Job Roles, a pro�le of our eminent Industry Partners, IISSSC brochures, pamphlets and lea�ets. Distinguished personalities like Hon'ble Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon'ble Speaker Lok Sabha Smt. Sumitra Mahajan, Ho'ble Chief Minister of Assam Shri Sarbanada Sonwal visited our Stall and shared their valuable views. We were impressed to note that thousands of students visited our stall and showed their eagerness about our training modules. Apart from students Teachers from ITIs, Professionals, Guardians of Students, intending Training Providers visited and interacted with our representatives. In Rojgar Mela our employers participated in Indore, Bikaner, Jajpur & Gwalior and shortlisted 100 numbers candidates on spot.

Service Level Agreements - During this period we have entered into 2 SLA with reputed manpower companies who have a pan India presence. They recruit candidate in various trades and have shown interest to recruit trained candidates of IISSSC. Training on IISSSC Job Roles is also undertaken in North East and other parts of the country.

Technical Activities - Under Non-PMKVY as many as 795 candidates have been trained and certi�ed in various Steel/Heavy Industries, under RPL 4.0 to name a few GRSE, JSPL Angul, JSPL Patratur, DSP etc. In different AICTE Academic Institutions and in Skill Missions of Andhra Pradesh, Jharkand etc. Under PMKVY 2 our cumulative �gures from Q3 2017 to Q2 2018 as follows:

Enrolled – 14069 Trained – 12989 Assessed – 11996 Passed – 11372 Certified – 10841 Placed – 4526

Meeting - The Board Meeting and Annual General Meeting of IISSSC was held at Kolkata Office on September 26, 2018. The Hon'ble Members took a note of the activities of the Organisation and expressed their satisfaction with the performance.

IISSSC is also expanding our Offices at different locations. Our commitment to continuous improvements in curriculum of Job Roles, quality of training being provided to the candidates has become emblematic with our organisation. I am certain the team in IISSSC will do their best to forward the vision of our Hon'ble Prime Minister of making India a Skill Capital of the world.

Polytechnic College Kannur Kerela, Mother Teresa-Karnatak, Arjun Collegeof Technology Telengana, Shri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology W.B.,Swami Vivekananda Institute W.B., South Kolkata Polytechnic W.B.

9 candidates trained and certi�ed under training of trainers (TOT) program for National Safai KaramcharisFinance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC) project.

300 candidates have been trained in Machinist, Fitter Electrical Assembly, Fitter InstrumentationJob Roles in Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society by our training partner.
