On June 20th, Sany Heavy Energy and the government of central Indian state Madhya Pradesh signed a
Memorandum of Understanding. They agreed on plans to boost cooperation in renewable energy over the
next few years.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Sany Heavy Industry Chairman Mr. Liang Wengen and Madhya
Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan. During the investment promotion in Beijing, they had a
meeting to highlight investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

“Sany India sales have grown rapidly as
India has created a growth miracle,” said Mr.
Liang Wengen. “
At the Beijing promotion activity, Mr.
Chouhan announced that the government
welcomed Sany and expected greater
cooperation with mutual benefit.
Mr. Liang noted that Sany hoped to
cooperate with India further in wind energy,
coal mining, housing construction and
infrastructure development.
Chinese Officials Visit Sany Europe Industrial Park
Mr. Liang introduced Sany's development history and its overseas investment, including the major 2012
acquisition of Putzmeister. He further went on to outline Sany's business in Europe.
Mr. Wang spoke highly of Sany's overseas efforts. He said that Sany was one of the first private Chinese
enterprises going global, and gained a wealth of knowledge in foreign markets and international M&A.(Chen

Wang Qinmin, a high-level official of
Chinese government, visited Sany
Europe’s industrial park in Bedburg,
Germany.

Sany Signs Key Agreements for Expansion in African Markets
On June 27th, Sany signed two major agreements with African nations at the 2016 Hunan–Africa International
Industrial Cooperation Conference & Cross-Border Networking Event.
Mr. Xiang Wenbo, President of Sany Heavy Industry made a speech at the event. He noted that Sany planned to
strengthen cooperation with African nations in industrial manufacturing, renewable power generation,
infrastructure development, and urban construction.
Sany Group along with other Chinese and Ethiopian enterprises and organizations signed the Agreement on
Ethiopia–Hunan Equipment Manufacturing Park Operation and Management.
Sany Heavy Industry signed an MOU with the China-Africa Development Fund and China Development Bank
on Investment Project Cooperation in Africa and Portuguese-Speaking Countries. Sany will gain funding for its
expansion efforts in Algeria, Ethiopia, Tunisia, South Africa and Brazil from these institutions.

interviewed Mr. Tang Xiuguo, Sany
Group President about Sany's
development and its plans in
Ethiopia. Sany is the only Chinese enterprise selected by the Ethiopian embassy for the national broadcast. One of the
reasons is the active cooperation with Ethiopia in local development initiatives.
Sany has been in the Ethiopian market for about a decade. Over 600 Sany machines are currently in use in the
country, with concrete machinery holding over 70% market share. In addition, Sany has established a strong
network of dealers in the local market.

Global Dealer Conference Successfully Held by
Sany Heavy Hoisting Machinery
On June 19th, the 2016 Global
Dealer Conference was convened
by Sany Heavy Hoisting
Machinery at Ningxiang industrial
park. Over 50 people went to the
event.
At the conference, Sany released
its new products, and introduced
the international strategies and
dealers support policies. It
culminated in the awarding of
prizes for excellent dealers. These
activities offer participants an opportunity to communicate and share experience with each other.
The dealers and management team from Sany also discussed the market situation, Sany equipment
performance, service & parts supply and other topics. All the attendees spoke out their ideas freely and gave
many useful suggestions.
After the conference, Mr. Sun Xinliang, GM of Sany Heavy Hoisting Machinery, arranged relevant departments
to study those suggestions and make sure that they would be effectively implemented. (Chu Xinyao)
Sany Launches 2016 Global Service Tour
On June 22nd, Sany Hoisting Machinery launched
its 2016 Global Service Tour. The theme of this
year is “New Journey, New Sany”. It will cover more
than 200 countries and regions, and involve over
1,000 service engineers and 600 service vehicles.
The after-sales service campaign, which started in
2014, is enormously successful. It increases
customer satisfaction and loyalty. Clients
worldwide reply that it has enhanced their

customer experience. The free services include a full inspection of customers’ equipment, necessary repair
work, and training about safe operation and maintenance for new products.
During this tour, Sany Hoisting
Machinery and the dealers will also
launch parts promotions, make a survey
about new products, and offer online
services to customers.

event will bring about greater
experience and create more value to the

Promotional Events Held By Sany Brazil Dealer Extra
“We received very positive feedback from our customers and lots of SY135 price quotations recently. We plan
to organize more events like this for other Sany excavator models,” Mr. Persio Briante, Director of Extra
Maquinas commented.
This promotional event in the region of Extra is also a concrete example that Sany Brazil has been helping the
dealers to expand their sales. It consolidates the brand image in the Brazilian market and gives confidence to

In June, Extra, Sany’s excavator dealer in the central
west region of Brazil, with the support of Sany Brazil,
organized a series of events to promote SY135.
Agriculture and mining are very important to this
region’s economy. Therefore, it has always a high
demand for medium and large excavators. In order
to expand the sales and meet the needs of various
clients, promotional events were organized. SY135
excavators were taken to several cities in the state of
Mato Grosso, so customers could check and test
drive them.

In April and June, IHQ together with
Sany Heavy Machinery held 2 training
sessions about excavators overseas
operation. Managers from different
OBUs received lectures about products’
selling points, successful cases and
culture of the company. They also visited
Sany’s factories and dealers.
Factory Tour in Sany India
On June 20th, Sany’s dealer, Saranya Infra equipments
invited 40 customers to visit the workshop at Pune,
west India.
During this tour, customers witnessed Sany’s
commitment to quality and how Sany uses
international and the best parts in excavators. They
also went to the testing area where Sany machines go
through various tests.
On that day, Mr. Dheeraj Panda, Excavator BU Head and other Sany senior executives introduced Sany’s future

Sany Staff Received Bonus for Remarkable Overseas Sales
On June 22nd, the 2016 OBUs Performance Contracts Signing Ceremony was held by Sany Group. Personnel
including GM and key management staff were awarded for their contribution to Sany’s overseas growth in
2015.
Senior executives of Sany America and Sany India were awarded for their successful local management. GM of
Asia Pacific BU and Latin America BU got the top 2 incentives for the impressive sales in their regions. The
award boosted staff ’s confidence and motivation in Sany’s further growth.
At the ceremony, Mr. Lincoln Liang, IHQ President, and OBUs GMs also signed the 2016 performance contracts.
The year of 2015 witnessed Sany’s steady growth abroad. In the coming years, Sany will make more efforts to
go global based on the “One Belt, One Road” and upgrade its foreign operation mode.
Mr. Xiang Wenbo, President of Sany Heavy Industry, is confident about Sany’s internationalization. He also
stressed that Sany needs to focus on localization and recruit more local staff when expanding abroad. (Li

Sany SR150C Rotary Drilling Rigs
Win Gazprom's Recognition
From last December to March, the Russian Gazprom
purchased several Sany SR150C through Sany's dealer
Rustechcenter Co., Ltd. for the Yamal petroleum & gas
project.
In 2013, Rosneft-the leader of Russia’s petroleum
industry-purchased multiple Sany rotary drilling rigs
for the Yamal natural gas project. It is the largest
project in the Arctic region, involving companies from
Russia, France and China.
Sany machines, including SR150C, operate well even at
minus 50 degrees Celsius. The high efficiency and
performance in cold winter are highly praised by the
customer.
In Bauma 2016, Sany launched an online lottery
campaign with its top machinery as prizes. Two lucky
participants from France and the Netherlands were
announced as the winners.
They received high-performance Sany SY16C
excavators at a formal ceremony held by Sany Europe.
Mr. Xavier Lucand-the winner from France-also signed
a memorandum with Sany to be one of its French
dealers. Mr. Lucand has extensive experience in the
excavator industry and said that he was excited about
promoting Sany's brand in France.
