This is a special sale for the Canadian Texas Longhorn Association.

The Auctioneer will tell you of any information the consignor has given them about each lot in today's sale.

As this is a Canadian Texas Longhorn Association sale, the transfer papers and registration papers shall be handled by CTLA.

Terms are CASH or DEBIT or CREDIT CARD, no animals shall be removed from the sale barn until settlement has been made.

Buyers premium of 3.5 % will be applied to all credit card purchases.

The yearling futurities for the CTLA continued at the Canadian National Show in Red Deer. It was the second stop for the Triple Crown Heifer Futurity and the first stop for the Double Crown Bull Futurity. Thirteen heifers competed in part two in two classes and the top two from each class moved on to become the final four. From the January to April class: Dancing to Success 66- Deb Lesyk/Dwight Overlid Taleighsha 56- Deb Lesyk/Dwight Overlid Judge Cody Himmelreich placed the final four as listed above. There are currently six heifers with overall points that will be part of the final stop of the futurity in Ponoka: Dancing to Success- 12 points Taleighsha 56- 8 points MSW Little Bug- 2 points- Darcy Dennis MSW Morning Glory- 2 points- Darcy Dennis Winning Respect- 1 point- Allemand Ranches MSW Black Tazzy- 1 point- Allemand Ranches The bull futurity saw 13 yearling bulls compete for the first points of the two stop event. In the January-April class: Wildgrass 26- Deb Lesyk/Dwight Overlid 7A Right On the Money- Allemand Ranches Judge Himmelreich awarded points to the top four in the following order: Wildgrass 26- 6 points 7A Kickin Stones- 4 points Gemba 86- 2 points 7A Right on the Money- 1 point Next stop for the bulls is Ponoka and the final points will tabulated and the awards given.
