DISCUSSION: The School Board currently uses Thor Guard Lightning Protection System at seventeen (17) Schools. Thor Guard, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of this equipment and does not authorize any other service provider to perform factory service to their equipment. CONTRACT TERM: The initial contract term shall commence July 26, 2019 and continue through July 25, 2020.

RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of Susan Hann, Assistant Superintendent of Facilities Services and Jim Ross, Director of Plant Operations & Maintenance to approve the attached agreement with Thor Guard, Inc. AUTHORITY FOR ACTION: Florida Administrative Code 6A-1.012 (12)(d)
