Thank you to Mrs Carpenter, who took over the Principal responsibilities while I was on leave and to Mrs Luckhurst and Mrs Lodwick who both stepped up in the Deputy Principal role. They obviously did a great job, as my return has been very smooth ….. almost like I’d never left. This term will be another busy one, and I’m especially looking forward to this year’s graduating students’ celebrations and transition into high school. We also have the whole school EDU Dance program, end of year concert, Year Six camp, class excursions and even a visit from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. It should be a fun and exciting term! David Tennant ROOM 2 ASSEMBLY: Well done to Room 2, who presented their assembly in Week 9 of Term 3. Room 2 taught us all about the months of the year and how many days are in each month through a cool rhyme. The community song was You Can Count On Me, which some students played the ukulele for. This assembly also saw our first winners for our You Can Do It rewards. Congratulations to Angelina R, Mahdi P and Kelly S, of the Seniors and Annabelle B, Olivia B and Dejan S of the Juniors, for having their names called out in the draw, earning them a $1 canteen voucher! We urge you to constantly remind your children to remain vigilant when crossing the road, both before and after school. Unfortunately, school staff are not permitted to stop or direct traffic.
