TWENTY-FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME SEPTEMBER 20, 2015

HOLY ROSARY PARISH will have a “Spaghetti Plate Fundraiser” on Saturday, October 3rd from 11am to 4pm; the plate will consist of Spaghetti with meat sauce and a salad, also a glass of Tea. Tickets are $6.00 each. We are asking all our Parishioners to help sell the tickets for the Spaghetti Plate Fundraiser. Parishioners can come to the Church Office if they are interested in supporting the Parish’s “Spaghetti Plate Fundraiser” for tickets (there are 5 tickets to an envelope) which you can purchase or sell them; it’s your chose! Deadline for turning ticket money in is September 25 th or sooner. We are in need of Volunteers to help out with the Fundraiser. If you are willing to volunteer, please pick up a Volunteer Form from one of the tables in Church or come by the Church Office. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR PARISH’S SPAGHETTI PLATE FUNDRAISER!

TRIP TO SAN JUAN DE LOS LAGOS SHRINE , in San Juan, Texas is set for Saturday, October 10, 2015. There are limited seats still available. Cost: $28 per person. Bus will leave Holy Rosary’s parking lot at 6:00am and return at 9:00pm the same day. Come to the Church Office (433-3241) to pay and reserve your seat. Office is open from 9am - 3pm, Monday thru Friday.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION FOR 2015 - 2016 – Classes start on Sunday, September 20th at 10:30am. Parents who have not per-registered their children, must come to the Church Office to register their children before they can attend a RE Class. PARENTS, be prepare! Please bring your children’s Baptism Certificate if your child has not received First Communion; if they are being registered for Confirmation, please bring their Baptism and First Communion Certificates. If by chance your child is not Baptized, please bring their Birth Certificate; which will be needed when you come to register. RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) has started its registration; any adult who needs two or all of their Sacraments (Baptism, First Holy Communion, or Confirmation) and are over 17 years old and are interested in receiving these Sacraments or if you have any questions about RCIA, please contact Ann Rangel at (210) 685-8871 or by e-mail arangel205@yahoo.com .

YOUTH GROUP will meet every Wednesday, from 6:30pm to 8pm in the Sister Emiliana Center. Children from 6 to 12 grades are welcome to come and join Holy Rosary’s Youth Group. Parents are welcome to visit with the Youth Ministers while their children meet other children.

BRIDGES to Contemplative Living with Thomas Merton; the series of eight sessions gently leads participants on a journey toward personal spiritual transformation and a more contemplative and peace-filled life.
