Here’s the truth - as women, we never really get ‘shown’ how to do our makeup, it just so happens that we muddle along and kinda figure it out for ourselves. We mostly get stuck in a rut of doing the same thing over the years and take ‘advice’ on products and what to do from our friends, blogs and beauty advisors.

We are influenced by the way beauty products are marketed to us and end up buying things off the back of ‘advice’, ‘the way it was shown in the shop’ or that ‘it says it does X or Y’. Most of the time, we fall out of love with these products as quickly as we fell into the idea of buying them.

This is where the concept of Makeup Doctor was born. Makeup Doctor wanted to show women that beauty is unique by person. All this ‘advice’ can be great but is it really relevant to you?

We want you to understand your beauty in the simplest way. I mean, who has hours to apply their makeup in the morning? All of these ‘techniques’ may work for professionals but simple methods can deliver the same result and quicker. All of the tweaks we make to your makeup routine or habits are different by person.

We also wanted to give you product recommendations that are unique to your skin needs or the look you wish to create, not because there is any affiliation or endorsement as there can be in the beauty world. All of our product recommendations are completely impartial.

WHAT IS MAKEUP COACHING?

It is a one to one session like no other, allowing you to learn all things about your beauty habits. Makeup Coaching gives you the confidence to improve your own makeup and actually see a difference in how it appears. Makeup Doctor ensures you understand ‘why’ you are doing what you do so that you can apply that knowledge to all that you do.

You learn what products work for you and which really don’t. No more working out which products to try, Makeup Doctor finds the most effective and compatible products for you and your needs.

You learn how to apply makeup, we may keep some of your existing habits or we may change them a little to improve how makeup appears, no more patchy makeup or flaky foundation.

WHO IS MAKEUP COACHING FOR?If you’ve been stuck in the same rut for years and want to improve or enhance how you look, or if you want to be able to apply your own makeup because you don’t feel comfortable when you have it applied by someone else. WHY IS MAKEUP COACHING DIFFERENT TO A LESSON?Throughout the sessions, Makeup Doctor wants you to get the most from it and to do this she starts with what you currently do, to help you understand how to improve it. Everyone has a different journey with makeup some are more confident than others, so she doesn’t believe in just giving you a one method fits all approach like in a lesson.

That’s ok, that’s exactly who the Be You Package is for: •Learn how to create the most natural of looks with makeup and still feel like you. •An introduction to wearing makeup and helping you understand what to do, why and how. This covers skin, base, bronzing, blush, eyes and lips.•Receive a recommendation of what products to wear that will work for you. 1 practical 2.5 hour session that allows you to build confidence to wear makeup that suits you.

Enhance YouTwo sessions to master all the basics

Refresh & Recap You had your coaching a little while ago but feel a little rusty and have started to slip into some old habits. Makeup Doctor takes you through each step again and tweaks the things you need to do and amends any elements to simplify further if needed.

Advanced ContouringYou love how you wear your base every day, but you want to transform your face and really alter your features dramatically, so let’s learn all about your face shape. This session is 75 mins and allows you to contour with ease.

Party EyesYou’re bored of your ‘everyday’ eye look and you pretty much do the same thing every time you go out. Let’s change it up, simple smokey, dramatic glitter or occasion eye looks, whatever you want to create… this session will give you a range of simple ideas for eye looks for all occasions.This session is 75 mins and allows you to master new occasion eye looks.

EyelinerYou’ve wanted to master eyeliner for some time now, but it never works out just how you want it to, you need it simplifying. This ses-sion takes you through just that the process to mastering eyeliner and wings and which type of liner look will best suit you.

GROUP COACHING

Group Coaching has been designed for small groups of 5 or under to learn simultaneously on themselves. These sessions are a little more ‘step by step’. Unlike One to One Coaching you are working with more ‘set’ products to allow you to learn the simplest tech-niques.

•Practical hands on session taking you through all elements of application from skin through to lips. •Learn to enhance every part of your face through these simple techniques for day to night makeup.•Receive guidance on your techniques to perfect them and have the confidence to repeat this at home.•Receive a full guide and product list of which products to use and tools.

BRIDAL MAKEUP COACHINGThey popped the question and you said ‘yes’. You’ve now got a whole wedding to plan and makeup is on that list. It would be nice to have your makeup done but you’ve not been 100% happy with how you’ve felt in it in the past. Besides, you want to have control over how you want to look. Bridal coaching gives you just that.
