“to seek beauty with its enriching influence”
WELCOME HOME!!!
All of us were anxious and excited to get back to Denton to see what this year would
bring. We began our work week with chapter brags and finding out UNT had its biggest
recruitment to date with almost 400 girls going through. Our work week was long but we
made it fun!! After a week of preparing and with school starting before recruitment most
of us were stressed but we were ready to tackle these obstacles and begin the start of
recruitment. Most of us lost our voices, ended our days with blistered filled feet, and
woke up with bags under our eyes, but in the end it was all worth it because we were able
to welcome home 38 beautiful new girls! We are all so excited to see what they bring to
our chapter and how they will grow as Zeta ladies. Congrats to our 38 new members for
joining such an incredible sisterhood! A big thank you to Alyssa Ledesma, Victoria
Murray, and Mary Waller for all their hard work!

our new members!!
Below: FINALLY HOME!!!!!!
Senior Spotlight: Victoria Murray
Victoria pledged ZTA Fall 2009 and since that time
has served on our executive board as secretary and
treasurer. She has also done her part on program
council as Think Pink and Service chair. Victoria has
been a dedicated member to this chapter, she is always
participating in intramurals, service projects, being an
awesome mentor for younger members, and does a
wonderful job of getting everyone involved. She was a
huge asset to our recruitment this year, we could not
have done it without her! Victoria will be graduating in
December with a degree in Marketing and certificate in
retailing. She plans to live in Lewisville and look for a
job in the DFW area.
Sweet Summertime As the year came to an end we were sad to see 10 of our seniors graduate
and leave, but we were excited for summer and all the things we would participating in. We had a summer filled with school, traveling, volunteering, working, and fun! 40 of our sister hit the books and took summer school back at home, here at UNT, and various community colleges. We had many of those girls make a 4.0! One of us studied abroad in Spain, lots of our girls travelled to NYC, Vegas, Tennessee, New Orleans, while others traveled to see each other in TX ( San Antonio, Houston, Sugarland, Fort Worth, Austin, Belton). We attended two sister’s weddings proving to us that Zeta IS forever. We volunteered with Special Olympics, Any Baby Can, and The American Cancer Society. We had a sister spend her time on campus being an orientation lead, while two others were disaffiliated from ZTA to be Rho Gammas. All together we had a wonderful summer and are excited about this year!!
Around our Home
We were so excited to come back and see new
things around the house. We have a new island
in the kitchen, turquoise painted laundry room,
new decorations in the study, and most
importantly a new house mom. Although we
were sad to say good-bye to Paige, we are
thrilled to have Angela with us!!!!
