A benchmark region for the moving images sector the Valenciennes area has been recognized and approuved since 2008 as the Regional Digital Creation Cluster Pictanovo, of which it is oneof the founding members.

Promoted by the CCI Grand Hainaut as from the end of the 1980s, this ambition has been strengthened over the years by :

• The successive creation of the three schools of the Rubika group (Supinfocom, Supinfogame and ISD)• The construction of a building dedicated to ICT companies (les Ateliers Numériques - "Digital Workshops")• The setting up of a play research laboratory (the Play Research Lab)• Support for serious game development (international "e.Virtuoses" festival, numerous calls for projects)

The Serre Numérique is the first structure and the driving force of the Parc des Rives Créatives de l'Escaut. Developed by Valenciennes Métropole and dedicated to the moving images and ICT sectors, this new 26-hectare eco-district is a “special urban area” with exceptional tax release on fiscal and social taxes. In 100,000 m2 of building space, it will bring together: businesses, shops, housing and major facilities (Valenciennes Conference Center and a data center).

A benchmark region for the moving images sector the Valenciennes area has been recognized and approuved since 2008 as the Regional Digital Creation Cluster Pictanovo, of which it is oneof the founding members.

Promoted by the CCI Grand Hainaut as from the end of the 1980s, this ambition has been strengthened over the years by :

• The successive creation of the three schools of the Rubika group (Supinfocom, Supinfogame and ISD)• The construction of a building dedicated to ICT companies (les Ateliers Numériques - "Digital Workshops")• The setting up of a play research laboratory (the Play Research Lab)• Support for serious game development (international "e.Virtuoses" festival, numerous calls for projects)

The Serre Numérique is the first structure and the driving force of the Parc des Rives Créatives de l'Escaut. Developed by Valenciennes Métropole and dedicated to the moving images and ICT sectors, this new 26-hectare eco-district is a “special urban area” with exceptional tax release on fiscal and social taxes. In 100,000 m2 of building space, it will bring together: businesses, shops, housing and major facilities (Valenciennes Conference Center and a data center).

WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE SERRE NUMÉRIQUE, THE CCI GRAND HAINAUT AND THE VALENCIENNES AREA CONSOLIDATE THEIR POSITION AS MAJOR PLAYERS IN DIGITAL CREATION IN FRANCE.

A benchmark region for the moving images sector the Valenciennes area has been recognized and approuved since 2008 as the Regional Digital Creation Cluster Pictanovo, of which it is oneof the founding members.

Promoted by the CCI Grand Hainaut as from the end of the 1980s, this ambition has been strengthened over the years by :

• The successive creation of the three schools of the Rubika group (Supinfocom, Supinfogame and ISD)• The construction of a building dedicated to ICT companies (les Ateliers Numériques - "Digital Workshops")• The setting up of a play research laboratory (the Play Research Lab)• Support for serious game development (international "e.Virtuoses" festival, numerous calls for projects)

The Serre Numérique is the first structure and the driving force of the Parc des Rives Créatives de l'Escaut. Developed by Valenciennes Métropole and dedicated to the moving images and ICT sectors, this new 26-hectare eco-district is a “special urban area” with exceptional tax release on fiscal and social taxes. In 100,000 m2 of building space, it will bring together: businesses, shops, housing and major facilities (Valenciennes Conference Center and a data center).
