Sgt Pepperrsquos Lonely Hearts Club Band

Sgt Pepperrsquos Lonely Hearts Club Band is a really interesting album in many ways - though from a bass line perspective McCartney is con-solidating previous developments in his bass playing and bass line creation as seen on the previous albums (Rubber Soul and Revolv-er)

But there are some interesting basslines on the album - and the title track is one of my favourite songs on the album

I recently got hold of the isolated bass line to this and there are some interesting nuances that are missing from the commercially available transcriptions of the song (eg the Beatles Complete Scores) So letrsquos go through the six sections of this short (but interesting) tune
