Remaking the waterfronts of shanghai Latest developments in Shanghai centered around the coast line of its
waterways - primarily Huangpu River and Suzhou Creek.
This was primarily done out of the growing concern for environmental issues.
In the redevelopment of waterways, old industrial areas lining the coast lines
were converted to office, commercial, residential and/or leisure facilities.
