• The first sport that was on the list was Basketball

• In very poor parts of shanghai many kids love to play a game of basket ball.

• Shanghai sadly does not have a team and doesn’t play for a tournament but for a game for fun Basketball is a fun game that kids in shanghai love to play.

Next is Hockey!!

• hockey is played in many parts of shanghai I found an interesting fact that in shanghai they have a hockey team and it’s called “RED GUARD”

• Their team is actually a league and they get to play against other teams in competition.

• But so far has not gone well for them.

Soccer!!!!

• The Next sport was my favorite and in shanghai soccer is famous as in any other country.

• Shanghai has a soccer team:• They are called the : “SHENHUA FC”• So far their team has gone very goodIn the Chinese league so far.Soccer is played mostly in the parks.

Bowling!!!!

• Bowling is a sport in shanghai that not many people play but they still have like places to go Bowling.

• There isn’t a shanghai bowling team but they are making a tournament and the winners get a big prize or something that is what it said.

Cricket!!!• In shanghai cricket is very popular because not

many people play baseball and cricket is kind of like it so people play cricket a lot in shanghai.

• Shanghai has a team it’s called “Shanghai Cricket Club” it’s a regular team

but doesn’t play much.

TENNIS!!!

• Tennis is played all over the world now and even in shanghai they got some champions.

• They even got a tournament going on right now it’s called “2009 Shanghai ATP”

• The tournament was amazing many people played some won some lost but the winner was “RAFA NADAL!!!!”

• Tennis was a championship in Shanghai.

because of the Olympics. • So in Shanghai it is a very popular sport

because of the Beijing Olympics. • shanghai’s warrior in the run was “Lui Xiang”• He was the “Shanghai Golden Grand Prix”• They went on the biggest event in track • This was all in shanghai stadium.

My 100 Word Essay!• In shanghai there are many sports maybe even at this very

second playing right now, but here are the sports. First of all there is Basketball. Many sports from America are played over there. Like basketball is usually played in the poor part of shanghai. Next sport is hockey they have their own hockey team called “Red Guard” but in Chinese. The nest sport is soccer, my favorite sport. One of the reasons why I love soccer is because it’s international that means that all over the world many people like to play it for fun or just for competition.
