ANNUAL SENIOR CITIZENS CHRISTMAS DINNER - A GREAT NIGHT! A great night was had by all at the Annual Seniors Dinner held at the Hyden Hotel on Monday 7th December 2015 and hosted
by the Shire of Kondinin and the Lions Clubs of Hyden and Kondinin. Thank you to Bruce Stanes for driving the bus from
Kondinin.
The 56 guests were entertained by talented musicians Shire CEO John Read and our local Policeman, Pawel Katerba and
Hyden’s dancing queen Betty Early.

Position Details
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly dynamic person to lead the team at the Kondinin Community Resource Centre. The primary role of this position is to manage the Community Resource Centre and report to the management committee.
The successful applicant will possess highly developed computing skills in word processing and desktop pub-lishing, excellent office and human resource management skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Duties will include administration of the Community Resource Centre, including preparation of Business Plans and reports, coordination of courses and events, and the supervision of staff.
Kondinin is situated 280km east of Perth in the Wheatbelt and the community is progressive, friendly and en-joys a sports orientated lifestyle.

TWO MONTHS UNTIL DEADLINE - Reminder 2016-17 REGIONAL EVENTS SCHEME ROUND This email is a reminder about applications for Tourism WA’s 2016-17 Regional Events Scheme, which is jointly funded by Royalties for Regions, are due in two months. The deadline for applications is 5pm WST on Monday, February 1, 2016. The scheme offers funding for eligible regional events held between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017 that have the ability or potential to attract visitors to the region, achieve media attention and involve and inspire the local communi-ty. Event holders can apply for funding between $5,000 and $50,000. A funding pool of up to $850,000 has been allo-cated for the 2016-17 RES round. If you child is on the list at Kondinin Primary School and/or is interested in attending Vacswim please come down to the pool to fill in the enrolment form and make the payment on Friday the 18th December 2015 to secure their spot.
