This is a very convenient path for traveling from ⑱ S-PULSE DREAM PLAZA to ⑲ KASHINOICHI. Cars are not allowed on this road, so you can walk safely.

●Ticket Counters: SHIZUTESTU BUS (respective counter in  front of Shin-Shizuoka, Shizuoka Station, Shimizu Station),  Shimizu Port Ferry depot, S-PULSE DREAM PLAZA,  Shimizu Fish Market KASHINOICHI, and Tokai University  Oceanography Museum

●水上バスWATER BUS

Water bus that connects Ejiri- Hinode -Miho within Shimizu Port. The “swish- swish Shimizu Port Tuna Ticket” will enable the visitors to ride the water bus to the designated sections between Miho Peninsula and JR Shimizu Station as they please. The charge is 2,280 yen for adults and 1,980 yen for 3years old to less than the elementary age with a meal ticket for 1,000 yen and a ticket to use one of the tourist facilities.

For means to travel within Shizuoka City, train, bus/taxi, rental bicycle, among others, may be utilized. It is possible to use the economical ticket and travel around efficiently.

Shizuoka Railway●静岡鉄道Privately-owned railway connecting between Shin-Shizuoka and Shin-Shimizu (11km). There are 15 stations in between, making it convenient to travel a short distance. The fare is 300 yen for adults (150 yen for children).

SHIZUTETSU JUST LINE●しずてつジャストラインBus running a regular route, covering the entire area of central district of Shizuoka Prefecture. The fare is 190 yen for the first ride. The fare of 570 yen for “Free ticket within the uniform sections” is provided, for the all day long ride if the ride is within the area included in the fare of 190 yen.

●タクシーTAXIThere are taxi stands around the train stations, but it is possible to hail a taxi on the street. For the destination within Shizuoka City, the fare for a small size taxi is 690 yen up to first 1.5km.

●レンタルサイクルRENTAL CYCLE

There are approximately 30 rental facilities within the city, mostly around JR Shizuoka and Shimizu Stations. The rental charge is 500 yen per use.

●バスBUSSumpu Roman Bus●駿府浪漫バスBus that circulates Shizuoka city area, focusing on the well-known areas in connection with Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. The fare is 100 yen per cycle regardless of which of the bus stops designated exclusively for Sumpu Roman Bus is used.

●電車TRAINJR Tokaido Line●JR東海道本線East bound and west bound train crossing Shizuoka Prefecture. Five to six trains operate every hour, connecting Shizuoka and Shimizu Stations in approximately 10 minutes. The fare is 240 yen for adults (120 yen for children).

Many currency exchange counters are available in Shizuoka City, including banks, hotels (some), and gold certificate shops, among others. It is advisable to check the exchange rate as the exchange rate varies from one counter to another. Also, it is necessary to pay attention at the time of exchanging the money as some banks do not provide currency exchange service. The gold certificate shop is open until later than the banks.
