Who we are? ❏ Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc was founded on April 9,
1990 at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa ❏ The Clemson Associate Chapter was founded in August 2021 (we’ve been
on campus less than a year!!) ❏ Our founders saw a need for an organization that provided support and
empowerment to women of all cultural backgrounds ❏ The founders of the Clemson Associate Chapter thought there was also a
need for this type of organization at Clemson❏ The Clemson University Associate Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma
National Sorority Inc. is a multicultural Greek organization that encourages its members to celebrate all cultures and take pride in their own. We are open to women of all shapes, colors, sizes, sexualities, and ethnicities
❏ Motto: Culture is Pride, Pride is success ❏ Vision: Empowered women leading the world
RequirementsCumulative GPA of at least 2.75
Must be a full time student and have completed at least one semester of classes at Clemson University
Must embody our principles:

How we contribute to Clemson’s campus ❏ We require that each sister be an active member of
our Clemson Community. Such as being a member of a Sports teams, FIRST generation student program, FSL DEI Ambassadors, etc.
❏ We organize presentations with other members of Greek life that educates our audience on various topic.
❏ We create a strong sisterhood dedicated to inspire each other while being inspired. Create friendships that continue after graduation.
❏ We live by our principles of Academic, Community Service, Morals & Ethics, Social Interaction and Cultural Awareness
