As a qualified, extensively experienced and highly competent Licenced Electrician, I have
strong potential for a role in Mining, Industrial, Rail, Electrical Generation and major Commercial Construction environments.
I am currently attaining Associate Degree of Electrical Engineering with the University of Southern Queensland, and in current role as Project Delivery Officer for major Electricity Distributor, Ausgrid, have key responsibility for Project Management. High Voltage Isolation Planning, Substation Construction and Maintenance, and Distribution Network Construction and Maintenance. Manage future projects in accordance with Field Supervisors and Managers.
Former roles with Ausgrid have included role as Senior Substation Electrician where I excelled in the construction and maintenance of electricity supply and distribution across a major, large scale network environment. Attaining my Electrical Trades qualification through Ausgrid I was consistently promoted, and have attained comprehensive expertise as an Electrical mechanic integrating technical services, Distribution, Planning and supply and Industrial and Domestic wiring.
Former role with Queensland Rail as Substation featured leadership in organization, planning and maintaining Queensland’s Rails Network, integrating Technical Services, Distribution, Upgrades and large scale Maintenance both underground and overhead.
My strong Risk and Hazards Management will prove a valuable addition to your operations, being governed by the professional and personal philosophy that ‘Safety is Paramount’ with commitment to protecting my own person and my team.
I am expert in the delivery of processes that drive, improve and enhance electrical and site safety systems, meet Statutory Regulations and employer safety obligations, including Environmental Standards. An integral component of my expertise in Workplace Health and Safety management has evolved through my commitment to driving employee safety awareness, and resulting in maximised safety and productivity targets in the work place.
I am very responsive to the needs of my employer’s operations, with pride in quality workmanship, and importantly flexibility and reliability for shift and roster systems, remote travel, FIFO, long hours and resilience for inhospitable environments, effective under work conditions of power danger, high level heat, cold, noise, fumes and dust. I will successfully undertake Inductions, Permits and will confidently pass Medical Assessments, with clear Drug and Alcohol Testing.
