IN-OUT mode is the basic wiring topology. It is used normally, and the quantity of monitor must be less than16.

Basic star wiring mode for apartment

This is the most common way for apartment system. One building shares one common entrance. Each user in the building can not only open the door, but also can intercom with the entrance or other users in the building via the system.(note that max.4 users are available for one branch controller(DBC4A1))

The Gateway Mode is for residential community including villa/house, small apartment, shared with a common gate, a gateway of BDU is used for making up a network system.

In this mode, the common door station can call all the monitors, the system can connect up to 8 BDU units, and each BDU can connect up to 32 monitors.
