An early survey by research firm NOP World-Technology for Cisco Systems in 2003 found that mobility solutions allowed employees to stay connected for an additional 3.5 hours a day, increasing their productivity by as much as 27 percent

The Yankee Group Enterprise Mobility Surveys reveal that 40 percent of respondents say more than a third of employees in their organization are remote or mobile workers

A study done in 2008 by Lotus Software predicts that the total amount of enterprise mobile users will grow at an annual rate of 21 percent between 2008 and 2012.
