Effective management of workwearWith the effective garment management solution developed by 2Trace, companies maintain a complete overview of all inventory, as well as efficient consumption and usage patterns for all workwear in circulation. The solution give locally authorised employees 24/365 access to clean and correct garments whenever they are needed.The 2Trace 2Scan cabinet is designed modularly to fit into existing environments in hospital departments and chang-ing room areas. Only authorised employees can activate the door to the cabinet and thereby gain access to the clean contents, and the system is easy to integrate with existing employee/access cards. After opening the door, users can be visually guided to their own garments. Garments removed during the transaction will be automatically debited from the employee’s garment account when the garments are removed and the door is closed. Once the transaction is complet-ed, an updated inventory overview will automatically be transmitted to the overall SmartGarment system. SmartGarment will continuously and intelligently communicate with laundry facilities and company management, which will be notified regarding the correct consumption and usage patterns. This ensures that companies are always able to optimise the contents of each cabinet based on actual consumption, so that employees never experience a lack of needed garments.After use, garments are returned to the designated return cabinet. Upon return, the borrowed garments are credited to the employee’s account, and new garments can be borrowed in accordance with the established standard procedures. The return cabinet is also managed to ensure collection before or when the unit is full. SmartGarment also provides real-time information to management and laundry facilities regarding current return inventory, enabling optimisation of washing cycles.

Simple personal identificationThe doors to each cabinet are equipped with an access de-vice. The access device can be existing employee magnet/chip cards. An option is also available for system login via a touchscreen. By using existing magnet or chip card systems, access is extremely fast and easy. Place the card against the door access scanner and the door can be easily opened with just one hand.

Fast and focused garment collectionThe windows in the doors give employees a quick view of the cabinet’s contents and a clear idea of whether the desired garment, colour and size is available without having to open the door to the clean contents. The employee’s consumption is registered in real-time by the SmartGarment system or a simple standalone system, which ensures that the current lending is always updated for the company/department/individual. The system can also track whether garment lending meets the company’s requirements for consumption, e.g. in relation to hygiene.

Simply, quickly and automatically registered laundry returnThe cabinet’s return module is equipped with a “toss in” door where all garments are tossed in at once. The garments are registered and credited to the employee’s account in real-time, after which the employee can loan new garments. When the returned garments are removed from the return system, the transaction is logged in Smart Garment or a sim-ple operating system. This optimises the logistics of transport and resource planning, ensuring that garments re-enter circulation as quickly as possible.

Attractive quality and performanceUser-friendly SmartGarment cabinets are developed to store and identify up to 200 items of clothing per cabinet. And up to 400 items of clothing in dual cabinets. User identification is intuitive, fast and convenient. The doors can be opened and closed with just one hand. The doors are equipped with a high-quality servo closing function. The cabinet is Type 90 certified and GS2010 compliant. CE compliant and tested in accordance with EN14470 part 1. The cabinet is fire resistant for 90 minutes, sig-nificantly reducing losses in the event of fire. The Smart-Garment cabinet comes with a 2-year guarantee.

Space-saving and resource-friendlyThe development of SmartGarment supply and return cab-inets is driven by a commitment to maximising inventory in terms of storage space, re-filling and flexibility. The flexi-ble modular cabinets can be scaled according to current capacity needs, while allowing for subsequent upgrades to meet growing needs in the future. Every cabinet can also be custom-designed according to the number of compart-ments and shelves needed.

Unique traceability with SmartGarment The RFID transponder (tag) in each garment contains unique information about the garment’s history, design, size and colour. The transponder can withstand industrial laundering for a minimum of 200 washing cycles. Gar-

ment loss is permanently reduced by the individual regi-stration of every garment, each of which can be traced back at any time to the last transaction and time of use.

Network and communication for the future All cabinets are connected to the SmartGarment online system, which includes a management and resource plan-ning tool. Inventories and alarms can be defined for each cabinet and individual, while garment capacity can be ad-justed according to actual consumption.

All electronic connections are via TCP/IP (EDS cabling / Cat 5), which can be integrated with standard communi-cation structures and cabling without extraordinary instal-lation costs.
