In today’s WebQuest, you will be reviewing to increasing your knowledge about system’s of equation. You will be navigating through several web sites to define key vocabulary, view demonstrations, and practice solving problems. When you are finished, you will be prepared for tomorrows quiz.

Task &Process

1) Define key vocabulary words. To complete this first task, find the definitions to the following words using Math Words for Algebra: system of equations, solution and ordered pair. Don’t forget to define each word in your definitions page of your notebook.

2) Read the discussion on Purple Math about the three types of solutions for a system of equations.

3) Next, watch the two videos on how to solve a system of equation by substitution and elimination.

4) Once you have finished all the review material its time to play Rags to Riches.
