In November of 2016, Kingspan acquired the assets of Bristolite Daylighting Systems, the leading North American producer of daylighting systems for the industrial and commercial markets. In the very next year, the Group expanded again by acquiring CPI Daylighting, an award-winning innovator of translucent daylighting solutions for high-performance building envelopes. Since the 1980s, CPI has been a pioneer and leader of the daylighting industry. Fixed Unit SkylightFixed unit skylights are available in different glazing options in order to meet a wide range of requirements needed for many building types. Our highly efficient design offers a reduction in energy costs due to high light transmissions.

Louvered SkylightsEfficiently glazed unit skylight with excellent ventilation capabilities for air movement within the building. Units are suitable for use on all types of roofs and can include pre-installed insect screens, bird screens and rain guards.

UL Listed Smoke VentsSmoke vents can be UL 793 Listed to suit yourbuilding’s requirements. They are fitted with hightransmission glazing and open against a 10lbs persquare foot uniform load. Smoke vents are alsoavailable with an FM Approval.

UL Listed Louvered Smoke VentsLouvered smoke vents can also be UL 793 Listed andare suitable for all types of roofs. They are utilizedwhen air movement is important and there is a needto meet the fire safety requirements for the building. Can be FM Approved to suit building requirements.

Safety ScreensWith OSHA fall protection at the forefront of design, our safety screens are constructed of 0.162” galvanized steel wire mesh with 4” grid openings. Corrosion resistant metal connecting clips are utilized to ensure a safe and enduring attachment.

Gravity VentsOur gravity ventilator is designed for providing relief for positive pressure, gravity exhaust of heat and smoke and/or air intake supply. The moulded fiberglass ventilator hood attaches to an aluminum curb mounted or self flashing frame with a bird screen included as standard.

External Safety CagesExternal safety cages consist of a 0.250” galvanized steel 4” square grid wire mesh and 1-3/4” x 2” angle brackets on two sides for fixing to any fixed unit skylight. The external safety cage shape varies based on size and rise of skylight.

Security GrillsSecurity grills are manufactured in various patterns with primed white finish 1/2” steel rods and 1/8” thick 1-1/2” steel angles on two sides.

Roof Access HatchesThe steel construction roof access hatch is designed with ease of egress in mind. Gray or red painted, our hatches come either curb mounted or self flashed and include a wood nailer for easy installation. A safety grab bar is optional for easier and safer access to the roof deck.
