On September 19, 1783, in Versailles, a Montgolfiere hot airballoon carrying a sheep, a rooster, and a duck flew for eightminutes in front of Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette.
Some 220 years on, it’s your chance to fly with the Royal AustralianAir Force at the Fete à la Poppet Head in Cooinda Park.

has written more than forty gardening books, also
four popular memoirs - Au Revoir, Last Tango in
Toulouse, The Long Hot Summer and Sweet
Surrender. She wrote a tender portrayal of a rural
French restaurant owned by five generations of
women in one family (Lunch with Madame Murat)
and made a documentary film on the same subject
for SBS television.
