What’s new in Spectrum Spatial Analyst 12.2 S01?

This patch release of Spectrum Spatial Analyst (SSA) has added the following new updates andfeatures to the end user interface:

Template Designer - With SSA 12.2 S01, Template designer allows editing templates generatedby designer. Templates that can be edited are listed in the designer.

• Save - After modifying existing template, you can now save the template.• Save As - After modifying existing template, you can now save it as a new template.• Set as default - This feature allows admin to set a custom template to a table’s default template.An admin can do so by clicking “Set as default” icon next to the edit icon on table selection page.This icon will appear to the admin in front of the template name when user will select the tablefrom table selection list.

See on Map feature - You can now highlight record on the map by clicking "See on Map" button.Remember that as soon as you select another feature on the map or on the map information callout,this feature will be un-highlighted and a new feature will be highlighted.

Zoom and Scale Visibility - SSA used to support only zoom visibility constraints, but now it willsupport the scale visibility constraints also.

Add Layers - You can now enable or disable adding of Spectrum Spatial Layers and Local VectorLayers individually from Admin Console.

The legend was coming in the print even when they are not configured in print template, it hasbeen fixed now.

Now, distance units are also honored in the miles unit system. Earlier, it was supported with metricunit system only.

The issue with watermark's transparency has been resolved. By default, it is set as 100%.CONN-37641

Improvements have been made in the initial load time of the SSA. The purple screen has beenremoved and load time has also been improved.

The issue with showing blank value for some columns in template designer has been fixed.CONN-37689

"Show quick queries (predefined) on search panel" was not translated in any locales. This hasbeen fixed now.

How to apply SSA 12.2 S01 Patch?

SSA 12.2 S01 patch can only be applied on top of SSA 12.2.Note:

Please download the zip file and extract it to your system. To install the patch, follow the steps given:

1. For windows, run the setup.exe as an administrator.2. For Linux, run the Analyst.bin as an administrator.
