Sphere, 17”, mounting rings/plates (G-104/105-17)

A PVC ring is adhesively bonded to the interior of a 17” glass sphere, providing a secure and convenient mount for a matching aluminum plate to attach your electronics. The adhesive bond creates a compliant joint. There’s plenty of plate thickness for rivet nuts, through bolts, and grommets. The PVC ring maybe bonded to the exterior of the sphere for attachment to a frame, or to mount sensors or other items. Connector through-hull ports can be positioned below the plate for short wire runs.

Specifications • Plate, 6061-T6 Al, 12.75” OD x 0.13” thick, gold chemfilmed • Ring, PVC, 12.75” OD x 1/2” thick, tapped ¼-20 thru, 6 places • 3M 4200 Fast Set marine adhesive recommended for installation of ring.
