Conservation Lab was created with the purpose of building a stronger bridge between leaders in travel, rural communities and conservation - in order to ensure that travel is the preferred and celebrated economic model in conserving Africa’s wildlife.

Since 2016, the event had united more than 400 of the brightest minds from these industries - to meet, share insights, collaborate and forge solutions.

What’s more, for every Conservation Lab pass that is purchased, an additional pass is given to someone who would not ordinarily be able to attend. This ensures the event is as diverse - and accessible to as many different people - as possible.

Held at Spier Wine Farm, in the heart of Stellenbosch wine country, Conservation Lab takes place over three days each year. From Friday to Sunday, up to 150 delegates are invited to actively participate in keynote talks; panels; collaborative workshops and impromptu discussions.
