There is too much rain this spring. Tim can’t wait for summer. Tim gets dressed and climbs into his wheelchair. First, Tim rolls into the bathroom to wash up. Then, Tim rolls into the kitchen to eat breakfast. Tim gets toast and sits at the table with his sister. Tim eats and watches the rain. The rain makes big puddles. Tim wants to splash in the puddles. But Tim is in a wheelchair. He cannot splash with his feet. Some puddles are big enough to swim in, Tim thinks. This gives Tim an idea. Tim takes a set of swim fins from the closet. Tim puts on his coat and goes outside. Swim fins? Is Tim going to swim? No, Tim is not going to swim. Tim is going to use the fins to splash! Tim rolls into a deep puddle. Tim puts the fins on his hands. Tim uses the fins to splash. Splish, splash, splish. Tim has fun. Tim gets wet. Tim is happy!

“BRRRIIIING!” Tim’s alarm clock rings. Time to wake up. Tim sits up in bed and looks outside. What a gray, rainy day. Dark clouds hide the sun. There is too much rain this spring. Tim can’t wait for summer.

Tim gets dressed and climbs into his wheelchair. First, Tim rolls into the bathroom to wash up. Then, Tim rolls into the kitchen to eat breakfast. Tim gets toast and sits at the table with his sister. Tim eats and watches the rain. The rain makes big puddles.
