GARLIC BREAD • Question: Cheesy or Plain? ð 18cm Roll, sliced ð Filled with garlic butter ð Baked in the pizza oven until the butter melts and the roll crispens If Cheesy ð Before roll is put in the oven, cheddar cheese is put over it.

SKEWER OF MUSHROOMS ð 100g button mushrooms, on a single skewer ð Grilled and basted to perfection.

QUESADILLA – Mexican Dish (Pronounced Kasadia) • Question: Cheese or Chicken & Cheese? • Question: Hot or not? (HOT = Chillies are added)

Cheese ð Two tortillas on top of each other. ð Filled with grated cheddar cheese. ð Put onto the flat top grill so cheese melts & the tortillas cook. ð Cut into four equal triangles. ð Served with shredded lettuce, diced tomato and guacamole. ð Also served with salsa sauce. Chicken ð Same as cheese Quesadilla, except strips of chicken are placed between the tortillas with

grated cheddar cheese. If hot, chopped chillies are put in between the tortillas. Should be served with wet wipes if eaten with hands.

CRUMBED MUSHROOMS • Question: Garlic or Tartare sauce? ð 12-15 Crumbed button mushrooms. Deep-fried. ð Served in a lasagne dish, on a steak plate, with a snail fork. Served with garlic sauce or tartar sauce (mayo, gherkin, egg)

CALAMARI STARTER • Question: Chips, rice or baked potato?

ð 125g Calamari rings, dipped in seasoned flour and deep-fried. ð Served with a tartar sauce and a quarter lemon. ð Also served with chips, rice or baked potato.

NACHOS MEXICANA • Question: Hot or not? • Question: Full or half portion? ð Nachos chips (hot corn chips), covered with heated salsa. ð Then covered with chunky cottage cheese. ð Then covered with cheddar cheese. ð (If hot – chilli is added) ð Put into the pizza oven until the cheese has melted. ð Topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomato & guacamole.

BUFFALO WINGS • Question: Half or full portion? • Question: Hot or not? (Basting may be offered as an alternative to hot or plain)

Half ð 300g = 8 pieces of Chicken wings = 4 full wings. ð Deep-fried. Full ð 600g = 16 pieces of Chicken Wings = 8 full wings. ð Prepared in same manner as half portion. Plain ð After wings have been deep-fried, they are put straight into the lasagne dish. Hot ð After wings have been deep-fried, they are dipped into Dirky Sauce (Vinegar, red pepper &

Question: Have you had a Hot Rock before? (IF NO) – Do you realise you will cook your own meat at the table? It’s lots of fun. Question: Would you like a 300g Rump, 200g Rump or 300g Fillet? Question: Which sauces would you prefer to accompany your Hot Rock? You may select up to 5

sauces, and they are included in the price. Question: Chips, Rice or Baked Potato, or Boiled Baby Potato? ð Steak is served raw on a stainless steel tray, with a heated lead-free volcanic tile. ð Tile is heated to 3000C.

o Customer cooks his/her own meat on the tile. We serve salt or olive oil with all hot rocks!!!

o Hot Rock is served with up to 5 different sauces AT NO EXTRA COST. The grilling on the tile brings out the flavour of the meat and gives off a tasty flavour. No basting is included.

o Customer must be warned not to leave their fork on the tile, or they will burn themselves. o They must also not put sauce, pepper or Tabasco on the tile, as it will cause excess smoke. o Advise the customer that if they cut the meat into blocks, it is easier, and cooks faster. o Watch out for guests ordering Hot rocks. They do not understand what they are about to

receive. Explain that it is raw meat, and that they will have to grill it at the table.

VEGETARIAN PLATTER • Question: Mushrooms – grilled or crumbed? • Question: Chips, rice or baked potato – (Sour cream or butter) or boiled baby potato? ð 140g veg. Patty, covered with cheese sauce. ð Customer has a choice of grilled mushrooms (removed from the skewer), or crumbed

choose from) ð Baked potato, served with a sauce of the customer’s choice. ð Also served with a portion of Spur-style onion rings.

Side salad (side plate), and Salad valley (waffle plate).

The other salads on the Valley will change daily.

ð The following will also always be available on the Valley: • A minimum of 3 hot vegetables • 2 cheeses (e.g. Feta, Cheddar) • 2 savoury biscuits (Salty biscuits) • 2 types of bread • 1 fritter (Small deep-fried “dough balls” that may contain fruit or veg.) • 3 salad dressings: French, 1000 Islands & Roquefort

ð You should take note of what other condiments are on the Salad Valley

(i.e. 3 types of mustard, chutney, tomato sauce, HP sauce, vinegar, olive oil, Tabasco, mint jelly, black pepper)

ð You will also find side plates, Spur printed serviettes and toothpicks at the Salad Valley. ð It is your duty to ensure that the Valley looks neat, presentable and appealing at all times.
