CHRISTIAN HOSPITALITY
Day in and day out, we are required to make judgment calls informed by tough, durable, serviceable Christian love. We do what we can do, and God takes notice. God is in charge of rewards, and a glass of water will do when that is what we have to offer with a glad and open heart. Paul gives us a clear theology for the missionary work we do whenever anybody is close at hand. He reminds us that our work, our ministry, is carried on in concert with Christ. We have been baptized into his death and life. In any given moment both life and death are there, a kind of play of shadow and light. Introduction of St. Anne Statue Good people of St. Anne’s, It is with joy that I introduce you to our most recent parish blessing…the bronze image of our heavenly patroness, Saint Anne! We have been talking about adding this beautiful statue to our plaza from the very beginning, and after many years of perseverance, we have finally been able to see her through to completion. Praise God!
You may naturally wonder why this addition was not more widely publicized, and I am grateful for the question. Because of the COVID – 19 pandemic, and all of the various health considerations that we are currently working under, we decided that now was not the time to invite and host a large scale gathering. When the health concerns of our State and local community begin to stabilize, and we are given permission to host larger events, we will certainly celebrate in a way that is befitting to such a great gift. Stay tuned for more details as the situation develops.
In the meantime, please know you are most welcome to visit our plaza and spend a few moments in prayer with this most beautiful image of our Lord’s grandmother, Saint Anne.
Thank you to all who have made her possible, and to our parish for your love and commitment to our wonderful community and plaza.

Buena Gente de Santa Ana, Con alegría les presento nuestra más reciente bendición parroquial... ¡la imagen de bronce de nuestra patrona celestial, Santa Ana! Hemos estado hablando de agregar esta hermosa estatua a nuestra plaza desde el principio, y después de muchos años de perseverancia, finalmente hemos podido verla hasta su realización. ¡Alabado sea el Señor!
Naturalmente, puede preguntarse por qué esta adición no se publicó más ampliamente, y les agradezco la pregunta. Debido a la pandemia de COVID - 19, y todas las diversas consideraciones de salud en las que estamos trabajando actualmente, decidimos que ahora no es el momento apropiado de invitar y organizar una reunión a gran escala. Cuando las preocupaciones de salud de nuestra comunidad estatal y local comiencen a estabilizarse, y se nos dé permiso para organizar eventos más grandes, sin duda celebraremos de una manera que sea apropiada por este gran regalo. Estén atentos para más detalles a medida que se mejore la presente situación.
