COLLECT Creator God, we thank you for mothers and carers everywhere, and for the special love they have for their children. We thank you Jesus for your special care and comfort and the perfect love you have for us all. Help us all to show your love to those who care for us, and to the people that we meet in our lives. Amen.

POST COMMUNION PRAYER Loving God, as a mother feeds her children at the breast you feed us in this sacrament with the food and drink of eternal life: help us who have tasted your goodness to grow in grace within the household of faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord.. Amen.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honour her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise. Proverbs 31.30-31
