FOR GREATER GLORY

Defending Life, Faith & Freedom

A Historical Presentation by Ruben Quezada

Author & Historian

The Knights of Columbus Basilica de San Albino Council 15578

and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Hear of Mary, will host Ru-

ben Quezada, author of “For Greater Glory: The True Story of

Cristiada” on Thursday, February 25 (Spanish) and Friday, Febru-

ary 26 (English). Both presentations begin at 7 p.m. in the Cathe-

dral, 1240 S. Espina. A reception will follow. Mr. Quezada’s

presentation is based on the historical accounts when Mexico’s

ruling president, Plutarco Elias Calles launched a direct attack on

Catholics across the country in the 1920’s. The religious persecu-

tion forced Catholics to rise up and fight for their religious free-

dom. Passionate and engaging, Mr. Quezada’s timely message

offers important insight for all of us: Catholics, Protestants and

Evangelicals in the ongoing struggle to protect our religious free-

dom. Tickets are $10. Please call 575-640-9076 or 575-635-

9333, or buy online at www.lascrucesforlife.org. Tickets can also

be purchased at the Office of the Cathedral of IHM and we have a

few tickets available in our parish office as well.
