ALL SAINTS
My Dearest Brothers and Sisters in the Lord God,
This Sunday, we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints’
Day. It also begins the month of November; it is the month in
which we most particularly pray for the repose of all the souls who
have gone before Christ in their individual Particular Judgments.
At every Holy Mass that I will offer throughout the month of
November, I will pray, in the infinite momentos of those Holy
Masses, for the repose of all the souls who have, are, and will be
intended to be given to me. Therefore, no matter when the names
are given to me during the month of November, each and every
departed soul will receive the full benefits of the Holy Mass
momentos. All Souls’ envelopes are available in the entrances of
the Church for your convenience to put the names of your
departed relatives, benefactors, friends, and acquaintances.
Don’t forget that Daylight Savings Time ends at the early
hours of the morning of November 1st. It will resume in the early
hours of the morning of the second Sunday in March; I hope that
you enjoy the extra hour of sleep (HA! HA! HA!).
I was pleased and proud to have been able to attend the
Annual Respect Life Dinner for the Ulster County Deanery on
Friday evening, October 23rd at the Best Western Plus in Kingston.
The entire banquet hall was filled with folks who support the
Fifth, Sixth, and Ninth Commandments of God. The guest speaker
was very inspiring and I was captivated by all of the efforts she
has, and continues to make, in lobbying for the defense of those
Commandments of God, both on a Federal and State level. The
dinner was quite excellent as well. I want to thank the members of
our parish, be they very young to not so young, for being in
attendance that evening; you continue to make me proud to be
your Pastor and Parish Priest.
I also want to thank most sincerely all of the folks who
printed their names on the Annual Signature Ad that will be in the
Sunday Freeman on January 17th, 2016. God bless you for doing
that and I was proud to print my name on it as well.
I WISH TO CONGRATULATE YOU AND THANK
YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT IN PURCHASING
THE ADAM’S GIFT CARDS. IT HAS BEEN A BIG SUCCESS
AS A FUN/FUND RAISER. THERE ARE STILL
APPROXIMATELY TWO DOZEN GIFT CARDS REMAINING
TO BE PURCHASED. WE, AS A PARISH, RECEIVE 10% OF
THE AMOUNT THAT IS PURCHASED.
The first Sunday of the month Instructional Prayer
Meeting will be from Noon until 1 P.M. in the Chapel portion of
the Church this November 1st. The topic is the wonderful Old
Testament (or Hebrew Scriptures) Book called The Book of Tobit.
Next week’s letter, I’ll report to you how the session went; any
and all folks are most welcome to be there.
I am certain that you noticed in last week’s bulletin, our
simpler, easier to read, monthly reporting of Parish Attendance
and Parish Finances. I wish to extend my deepest gratitude to our
Parish Finance Council for conceiving of the idea to report
monthly plus the fact that we are monitoring our finances from the
Archdiocesan Finance Office’s accurate information of our
monthly income and expense. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR FUN/
FUND RAISERS DURING THE YEAR SINCE IT IS MAJOR
WAY TO REDUCE OUR PROJECTED SHORTFALL OF
$23,000+ IN THIS CURRENT FISCAL YEAR.
On a happy, personal note, my nephew Matt, my niece-in
-law Becky, and I had a terrific reunion with each other last
Sunday, October 25th. Please pray that they will have had safe
travel back to south central Pennsylvania this past week. They
both wanted to extend their prayers and well-wishes to all of you.
LAST, BUT NOT LEAST, THE ALTAR ROSARY
MEETING IS THIS WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4th,
STARTING WITH THE HOLY ROSARY IN THE CHAPEL AT
7:15 P.M. ALL NEW AND CURRENT MEMBERS ARE MOST

Sincerely, with prayers,
Father Bill Woodruff

RECALL NOTICE
The Maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling
all units, manufactured regardless of make or year, due to a
serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart. This is
due to a malfunction in the original prototype units, code named Adam
and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all
subsequent units. This defect has been identified as "Subsequential
Internal Non-morality," more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is
primarily expressed.
Some of the symptoms include:
1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion
The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect,
is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to
correct this defect.
The Repair Technician, JESUS, has most generously offered to
bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no
additional fee required.
The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R. Once
connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the
REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the
Repair Technician, JESUS, into the heart component. No matter how
big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control
See the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (Best Instructions Before
Leaving Earth) for further details on the use of these fixes.
WARNING: Continuing to operate the human being unit without
correction, voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to
danger and problems too numerous to list, and will result in the human
unit being permanently impounded. For free emergency service, call on
JESUS.
DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall
action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The SIN defect will not be
permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility.
Thank you for your attention! GOD
P.S. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this
important recall notice, and you may contact the Father any time by
"knee mail"! Because HE Lives! Working for God on earth doesn't pay
much... but His Retirement plan is out of this world!
