Are you missing a loved one? Grief is a normal reaction to losing someone you love. You are invited to the Grief Sharing group meetings, a safe place to find support. Catholic Daughters of the Americas invites all women of our parish to our annual Pot Luck Ornament Exchange on December 17th at 6:30pm at the home of Kat Berbel. We will ex-change ornaments White Elephant style. Please bring an ornament to

Texas Trotters
Our church senior group, the Texas Trotters, will hold their annual Pot Luck Luncheon on December 6th at the Parish Hall after the First Friday noon Mass. Any and all senior parishioners are invited.

Thursday December 5: English Mass will move to 12pm (no confession), communion service at 7:00pm in Spanish.
Today as we celebrate Christ the King, may we open the door of our heart so wide that we may listen to the voice of Jesus calling us to help build his kingdom here on earth. In the month of November, through your gifts,
the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to help build the kingdom of God by assisting families, providing in food, for utility and rent bills, etc. Thank You! Our next meeting will be Tuesday, November 26th at 7:00pm in Room 4 St. Dominic. Food Pantry Needs: Rotel Tomatoes, Canned or Packaged Tuna and Chicken, Chili, Soups, Canned Peaches and Cheese/Peanut Butter Crackers, Granola Bars, Dry Pinto Beans, Chili, Cereal, White Rice, Fresh Vegetables from your garden on Monday to the pantry.

St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Project
St Vincent de Paul volunteers will be distributing ornament tags with Christmas wishes from local children and the Burke Center youth after Mass on November 23 and 24. Please stop by and get a tag or two and make Christmas a little brighter for these precious children.
SOCIAL MINISTRY
Baby Banks will be distributed after Mass next Sunday! St. Martin de Porres will host this campaign to foster a greater respect for the sanctity of human life. Your donation will help pro-life efforts in our parish and through-out the diocese. The Gabriel Project, Project Rachel, Sidewalk Ministry, Pro-Life Help

SPIRITUALITY
St. Martin de Porres Parish will be hosting the next Women's ACTS retreat from Thursday, March 5th through Sunday, March 8th 2020. The Men's retreat will be held from Thursday, March 26th through Sunday, March 29th, 2020.

This year, St. Martin de Porres Church is honored to be a recipient of the symbolic Silver Rose as it makes its pilgrimage across 3 nations and concludes at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. The Silver Rose, which represents the Gift of Life, will be presented and displayed. Immediately following this presentation, the traditional tree lighting will take place representing the illumination of hope to the world by the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Daughters of America invite everyone for an evening of Christmas caroling, cookies, hot chocolate, and prayer.
