Lenten Communal Reconciliation

We are offering a communal penance service for St. Paul parishioners and any other Catholic who wishes to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesday, March 28 from 4pm-9pm here at St. Paul. There will be priests from St. Paul, St. Charles, St. Vincent, and other area churches available to hear your confession. In addi-tion, St. Paul will maintain the usual schedule of Con-fession times during Holy Week.

Welcome Back! Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLW) Children’s Liturgy of the Word resumes this Sunday at the 10:30am Mass. All children under 7 are welcome. No reg-istration is required. Faith Formation Classes resume this Sunday! Classes meet from 9:30am-10:25am downstairs. Sacramental Preparation Class will be Sunday, March 25, from 9:15-10:30am in Higgins Hall.

This marks the FINAL week of our Lenten food drive which means you still have plenty of time to bring in your food/hygiene donations or make a financial contribution!

Among the least considered and most in need, home-bound seniors are a priority for our food drive. Area 10 Agency on Aging delivers groceries bags of food, paper products, and personal items, plus provides a Hot Meal Program. To do this, they need our help! “Our program delivers groceries to low-income home-bound seniors, and we are delighted to pass on this gener-ous gift to them. We are so grateful for this amazing and wonderful offering.” -Area 10 on St. Paul’s contributions

Nominees for the Parish

Pastoral Council

(PPC) Now Being Accepted Members of the PPC serve as a liaison between the Pastor and the parish. Members also serve in a con-sultative position to the Pastor. Nominees for the Council are being accepted until March 25. Open positions are as follows: 2 Undergraduate Representatives 1 Grad Student Representative 2 Resident Parishioner Representatives 1 Multi-Cultural Representative 1 IU Staff/Faculty Representative Per PPC By-Laws, Members shall:

Be baptized and confirmed Catholics.

Be active members of the parish and participants

in parish activities, including worship.

Know and support the mission of St. Paul Catholic

Center.

Possess the talents and skills needed to carry out

the work of the Council and attend the meetings of the council.

Be willing to utilize consensus in making recom-

mended to the pastor. The PPC meets once a month during the academic school year (August-May) from 7-9pm, usually on the 3rd Monday of the month. Potential Candidates must complete a nomination f o r m ( a v a i l a b l e o n o u r w e b s i t e , www.hoosiercatholic.org) or in the parish office during regular office hours and return the completed form by March 25th. The election will be held on Sunday, April 15 after all Masses, and successful candidates will be notified by Fr. John no later than Tuesday, April 17.
