SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM: The Sacrament of Baptism is administered monthly. Arrangements are made in advance at the Rectory. Sponsors must provide proof of eligibility by a letter from their respective pastors, and must have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation. Parents attend a Pre-Jordan meeting prior to Baptism, which is arranged at a mutually convenient time.

SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE: Arrangements must be made with the pastor at least six months before the date of the wedding. Pre-Cana instructions are required. Couples rather than parents or wedding coordinators should contact the church. If either party was previously married, an annulment must be granted prior to the selection of a future wedding date.

Dear Parishioners: I am pleased to introduce to you one of our Redemptorist priests who will be stationed here

at St. Peter the Apostle for the next 2 years. His name is Fr. Peter Plangklang, C.Ss.R., who is a Redemptorist from the province of Thailand. His main purpose for being here is to study at the University of Pennsylvania where he will get a masters degree in counseling. As such, he will be doing his internship at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School where he will be of service to our schoolchildren during the week. Our trained professional counselors on staff, will serve as immediate supervisors, as well as sister Rose Federici, S.S.N.D. - our school principal. We are coming down to the deadline for parishioners to submit their ads for the commemorative booklet for the 175th Anniversary. Please contact the rectory office as soon as possible in order to ensure that your ad gets in the book by the August 1 deadline. Once again, for those looking simply for a memorial line the cost is $10. However, if you can make a gift donation of $25, you will get a complementary book for you and your family to enjoy. This unique publication will serve as the photo history and narrative journal, as well as the official memory for St. Peter the Apostle for the next 25 to 50 years. Having your family members memorialized and your businesses remembered, will etch their memory into the legacy of this parish for generations to come. Future Redemptorists, Archdiocesan clergy and officials, and your children and grandchildren will know who we were and what we did as they flip through the pages of this historic memento. So don't forget to leave your mark and be part of the legacy. Finally, I wish to wish you and your families a very safe and restful Summer Break as you spend time barbecuing in the backyard, visiting family and relatives, spending time at the beach or at long awaited vacation destinations. I thank you for your prayerful Sunday presence in church, I thank you for your regular and consistent financial support of our parish, and I thank you for the commitment and dedication you show every week to our beloved faith community here at St. Peter the Apostle. Queridos Feligreses: Me alegra introducir a uno de nuestros sacerdotes Redentoristas quien estará con nosotros en San Pedro el Apóstol por los próximos 2

años. Él se llama Padre Peter Plangklang, C.Ss.R. quien es un Redentorista de la provincia de Tailandia. El mayor propósito de estar aquí es para estudiar en la Universidad de Pensilvania donde él obtendrá el grado de maestría en consejería. Como tal, él hará su práctica en la Escuela Católica San Pedro el Apóstol donde estará de servicio a los niños de la escuela durante la semana. Nuestros consejeros entrenados en el personal, servirán de supervisores inmediatos así como la Hermana Rose Federici, S.S.N.D. – la principal de la escuela.
