Baptism is the first step to become a Catholic Christian. Parents who wish to baptize their children agree to raise them in the Catholic faith. For more information about the requirements for infant baptisms, check the bulletin or call Deacon Dan. Classes are the 2nd Saturday of each month in the Faith Formation Complex room 13 at 9 am. For Spanish, classes are the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Faith Formation Complex room 13.

God loves us and wants to forgive our sins. You can experience God’s unconditional love through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Festival is our way of building Community and also a very important fundraiser to help alleviate some of our operating expenses throughout the year. CHRISM MASS

Bishop Joseph A. Pepe invites the parishioners of the Diocese of Las Vegas to attend the celebration of the Mass of Sacred Chrism to be

held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Guardian Angel

Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way. At this liturgy the sacred oils that are used to anoint the newly baptized, those being

confirmed, the sick and dying, the new ordained will be blessed by the bishop for each parish. Our priests will renew their vows of Holy

Orders. It would be a sign a great support for parishioners to witness this beautiful liturgy.

For what purpose did God create man and woman? 358-359—380-381: God has created everything for them; but he has created them to know, serve and love God, to offer all of creation in this world in thanksgiving back to him and to be raised up to life with him in heaven. Only in the mystery of the incarnate Word does the mystery of the human person come into true light. Man and woman are predestined to reproduce the image of the Son of God made Man, who is the perfect “image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15).
